Pros & Cons
Pros
It allows more freedom of motion than any other flotation belt i have owned since the one i owned 30 years ago. I wear this with confidence while fishing alone in case i go overboard, i know it will keep me afloat.
Easily secures together by pushing one piece of the buckle into the other. I live the contusion strap that is on the out side.
Cons
The second time my grandson used this product the latch snapped. We are only lucky he is a strong swimmer and was only using the belt to belay his grandmother’s fears. Very poor design.

They are great swimmers but when we anchor out in the water or when we swim at the pier i am not comfortable with them playing without a life vest

After awhile and a few energetic swim times in the lake by the kids those vinyl squares tear making the belt useless

It would be better if the straps fed through the belt somehow to avoid the little squares from ripping off

We bought these ski belts to use when the kids swim at the lake the water isnt super clear and we dont like them to be in deeper water without some kind of flotation but a full life jacket is overkill and a bit cumbersome to swim and play in

The yellow part is very dense and about an inch thick and no matter how tight you cinch the blue belt strap it wont cut into you
