The liquid is a deep amber to brown color as would be expected. This iodine is the same color as the atomidine i normally buy, the other brand is like water and stings like crazy. I'm happy with the ultra6 iodine i just purchased.

Not satisfied but stuck with 3 non returnable products. Returned to amazon for refund. I wish i had read the other bad reviews before purchasing that stated this stuff was a fraud!
