This isn’t a bad sounding dynamic it does not have a bright top which may be a relief to some but the bass starts rolling off too strongly at 150hz to be used as advertised

It might work on rack toms though it’s too heavy for clips but it’s too thin for floor toms and certainly kicks and bass cabs

It is also somewhat susceptible to rf hum in certain orientations due to the single coil element

When i received the mic it was obvious this was not the first time the mic was removed from the packaging

The rubber band around the mic was most off and the box was slightly worn
