Had to file and shave the clutch lever to get the bolt through and afterwords had issues with it binding and getting stuck after being pulled

I found the worst slop was in the middle joint

Just in case your wondering it goes in as a spacer to take up the slop in the joint not as a washer were the nut is

I dont know what happens if you do pull it out all the way but i feel fortunate to catch it before it was a problem
