Pros
They are elegant looking and they are solid, strong and sleek. Not identical, but are handcrafted beautifully. They are always in my purse for a quick up-do anytime.
The curved shape of the stick also makes it easier for pinning the hair. The sticks are smooth enough that they glide into the hair easily without catching.
The design is minimalistic and elegant. Unisex and stylish with minimal frill.
The split can be sanded smooth easily so no big deal. Opaque black in color. Also, rubbing this with oil also helps it become smooth.
I'm upping my rating to 5. Is perfect. Exceeded my expectations. Beautifully made.
Cons
Now it snags and rips out my hair. The concept is still awesome so don't give up on hair sticks but maybe go with a different seller.

Either it doesnt hold my hair at all hair clips the stilyle falls down or it oulls and tears typical hairties these are exactly what i needed

Since i have heavy thick and straight hair i have to use both sticks to keep my hair in place
