I did get a message when installing about it not being hp but all i had to do is press ok

Be sure to download the latest drivers to your printer before using the cartridges so that you get the update that allows nonoem products to be recognized by the printer

When i installed it and closed up the hp8620 printer i received a warning from hp stating the print quality may not as good using a nonhp cartridge
