Pros

Within a few pages i was intrigued. Not your usual kind of story. A nice light and enjoyable quick read. Good ending.

It's fantasy and imo it makes it's point in a really charming way. From teenage push-back to distancing to softening to seeing her mother's humanity.

Cons

The book jumps around and in the end still leaves you wondering what the point even is. End of story is her own teenage daughter hating her and apparently continuing the cycle. It was jumbled and all over the place.

I wasn't entertained or amused. Disappointed and not likely to read any others like that. What a waste of good literary talent.
