Pros & Cons
Pros
Wireless controller is a great compromise between wired and wireless. No lag during play and the extra * are wonderful for emulating other consoles.
The home button is a must to enjoy the super nintendo classic. The turbo button lights up and is very responsive, great for those fighting games. No need to get out of bed to get to the menu.
I'm by no means a * gamer - i'm just a casual user replaying the snes i had growing up. The price is right and the responsiveness is perfectly adequate for playing 80s games. Other than that it's a must for snes mini or wii owners.
The layout is by far superior to the original. The concave and convex button placements are switched from the original layout, so it feels a little off. The top two * x and y are convex like the xbox one thumbsticks and a and b are concave like ps3.
Cons
What *. Sooooo cheap. These are a boarder line scam.
Big problem with the console is connectivity. Powering off and back on doesn't work.
For a long time 16-bit gamer, a weak dpad is a dealbreaker. The controller feels cheap, with a glossy finish compared to the matte finish of the original. The triggers do nothing on the snes classic.
