Overall, very pleased with this buy. Great quality mount and price. Great product packaging. Enjoying mine so far.

Fits my mxl 990 condenser mic perfectly. Works great with standard mic stands, reduces shock and is a snug fit. No more desk or noise or other vibrations getting into the mic.

The mount is great quality, my 990 fits snugly, and i've had no issues with it. Oredered this for my 9 90 blizzard edition. It fits an mxl 990, which is a large body microphone.

Cons

Do not purchase from this listing. Diameter opening way too small. Incorrect and/or misleading item.

Shock mount is clearly too small for the mxl990. Title says it is supposed to fit on mxl 770 and 990 mics, but it quite plainly doesn’t. The mxl 57 is black-ish, whereas this is silver-ish. Doesn't fit the microphone mxl 990 it's advertised to fit.
