Pros
The black finish makes it aesthetically pleasing. It hints at the look and feel you would expect in a large production studio. It is not made too cheaply, but be careful when handling.
This fits our mxl v67g flawlessly. The only part that's likely to break is the screw to tighten the mount.
Cons
Shock mount does not fit all condenser mics. Concern is that it will break and drop the mic and/or damage the casing of the mic.

This worked wonderfully and has the quality ive come to enjoy with the mxl line
This will only fit microphones styled like the sp1 and is not made for smaller framed microphones
I worry that it might fall out one day

It was exactly what i needed at a great cost and it was easy to find online
The mount that came with my v67 cracked right away so i bought this shock mount as a replacement it is functional and inexpensive
This is a great value for what it is
For me its money well spent using it when djing online 6 days a week

The only part thats likely to break is the screw to tighten the mount to keep it in a given position based on the reviews mine works fine yet

It also came with two replacement bands in case theyd break

But the likely place for one of these bands to break is where its cutglued togetherrubber piece is put over the glue

So if that happens just cut open the rubber part use a little krazy glue and go to town

No instruction manual so for firsttimeusers it may scratch your mic if you just force it through the hole once you figure that part out then you must adjust the mic holder tonothave the levers touch the outer base
