When i received the item the central fan was not working and still does not work however this has not really bothered me because the other fans work and are more applicable to my laptop

The stand has little rubber pads on the front feet which hold it steady enough but the rubber strip on the back underneath side of the stand isnt so great and the stand will tend to slip if it isnt placed on a mat of some sort

When i removed the control box from the styrofoam however something inside was rattling and it didnt sit flat on the workbench

On opening the device the transformer coil was not fully attached and some of the screws were loose causing the case to be askew

No big problem and with a little bit of fiddling i had the transformer seated the metal case straightened out and the box screwed up square

The solder is weak

Again maybe hotter than display suggests

However it did not lower cpu temperature when the laptop was under load
