Pros
This beats any traditional handles crimper/swaging tool. Put copper battery ends on cable. Choice of die is a bit of an acquired skill, but then again, when doing hand work, what skill isn't?
Cons
The numbers on the die must be metric, even then it's hard to discern what the proper size would be. Used to crimp about 100 cables than did not work anymore.

I first bought a traditional 14 swag tool to crimp some cable ferrules but i had to attach pipes to the handles to get enough leverage to make the crimps on the ferrules
