I ended lining up the almuminum pieces next to each and sliding the plastic up and over and cutting those at a 45
Easy to install does the job only complain they didnt send enough clips or screws

I used the govee rgbic since it was on sale and does what i need
It was very reasonably priced and made a difference it the led stripes that i am using as the main lighting in my livingroom
Packaging/appearance
Also comes packed well and will all hardware
Competitiveness
I have the govee m1 which i believe has the same ledmeter count as the phillips hue which is 60meter and that’s about as high as you’ll get

Aluminum easily cut with a miter just use a fine tooth saw and go slowly

As for the light diffusion i can’t really say as i used an 8mm cob strips inside
