Another complaint ive seen is that the scanner doesnt have an onoff switch and i agree that it has been confusing at times not knowing if the thing was on or not theres really no way to tell

I can scan a page with four 4x6 images and then crop in on an individual photo if i want to do something special with that one photo

I contacted the mustek usa support on a sunday night not expecting much help on a 5 year old machine that was such a bargain in my opinion

I did have a second issue just outside of the warranty period the unit just stopped working and my system could not detect it but tech support was really helpful and spent a lot of time with me troubleshooting

Advertised as 2400dpi and thats not an option with the software
