Mitsubishi 1080i rear projection ws-65313 tv. Works with a tivo mini cable box and an olevia lcd tv, circa 1997. Saves our lives because our projector is old and doesn’t have hdmi.
The musou has a button to manually select the proper output resolution. Windows recognizes it as an external display.
Cons
It shows signs of overloading. Changing resolutions changes the output to the tv but for all options, it shows no input. It also constantly loses connection and blanks and reselects the resolution while your trying to watch tv. I will update this revi... Read More
The hdmi-to- component converter makes the image much much worse. It darkens it slightly, adds jaggies to smooth lines, and over all is usable but unpleasant. It simply was manufactured poorly and should never have been released for shipment.

It only worked at 480p resolution though which was good enough for him

This one does not work with 1080i but it did work under 720

The only reason i returned this one is because i found another one that worked with 1080i which fixed the picture being cut off around the edges so i decided to go with that one instead
