Quality

A good quality dac for connecting digital music equipment

Another thing to consider is the quality of the mastering on your cds

Well pleased with the purchase really at this price its an obvious choice for quality listening

This beauty reproduces all tiny details in of cd quality as well as high resolution recordings

Price

Well worth the £200 price to me

This product is amazing at any price

Packaging/appearance

An incredible dac that blew away my cambridge dac magic azur out of the box

I also considered the cambridge audio dacmagic 100 but the sound isnt a patch on the v90

Competitiveness

Very good little dac certainly pepped up my oldish cd player

Cant fault the sound does exactly what a good dac should do and sounds very slightly better overall than the fiio e17 it replaced

Playing mp3s through the v90 is like buying an hd tv and only watching dvds rather than bluray

It still might be worth trying a jitterbug though

As it is setup at the moment whilst not quite to the same performance level of my relatively more expensive linn lp12ittoktroikatrichord dino vinyl front end setup it is not too far way either

I bought this dac more or less on impulse mainly because i was having exasperating trouble with a much more expensive dac that was giving me severe dropout problems on the coax input and i wanted an alternatative dac as a standby while i tried to get it fixed
