A highly recommended book. More info than a couple college courses, its an absolute bargain and pretty much a masterwork. I knew this would be a great book as many authors cite it.

It starts at page 313, the pages are sideways, and it looks like a bad photocopy. Practically no color photos. Poor photos, for a prof.

This is primarily caorwabc book but im in the northeastern us and it still gets you there with the dichotomous key

Because of its size it is not a book you want to stick in your pack when you go mushroom hunting so you might want a pocket size book for field identification

Some of the keys will run you up against a wall if you dont have chemicals to test for reactions or a microscope so its not super forgiving to those who arent nicknamed the professor by their friends
