One of my usb drivers was corrupt and i hadnt noticed until the ultra refused to work with the corrupt driver

Check which file system you have vista7 right click the drive click properties click general tab look at file system

So dont use ntfs unless you need advanced ntfs features and wont be using the drive in mac or linux

To format the drive as exfat in windows vista7 right click the drive click format
