David morrell paints a stunning picture of victorian london. The author does an artful job of creating the mood of the period.

There is a lot of action and suspense involved from beginning to end. The reader leaves the work satisfied that this is an extremely well written book.

This is no woman in white or the glass of time, but it is better than the louis bayard books i've read and quite enjoyable. Well researched and well written.
