Pros & Cons
Pros
Toddler loves how wide and cushy it is. Not much cushion to it but thick enough to protect our 9 month old in the bath. The folds create a sort of cushion that keeps your bottom from getting cold, too!
Easy to drip the water and dry quickly. Easy to remove to clean under when needed. Only thing i wasn't a big fan of it gives off a certain smell for like the first week.
Arrived promptly and as advertised. Only problem is that i couldn't find a color matching my bath decor but it wasn't a deal breaker.
Cons
It smells like a mix of plastic with dog poo or burnt plastic. There is also a mild plastic odor that emits for the first week. The stench is horrible!
The suction is weak because it goes along the perimeter with a few on the inside. This mat stinks like bo!
Genie is not great. It's not worth the money and the headache it triggers.
Highlights
Quality
This fulllength bath mat stretches across nearly the entire length of your tub it offers security and stability underfoot
Great mat and definitely helps my 10 month old be more secure in the tub
Never had any issues with mold as i take it out and hang dry and disinfect it after each use
My baby was slipping and sliding on our tub and it made bath time stressful for me
Packaging/appearance
I will say that when i first opened the packaging there was a very very strong “plastic” odor coming from this mat
I think its because it came rolled up in a box and just needs to be used more but overall great purchase
Competitiveness
Was nervous to switch from our usual brand bath mat for our littles
