From the mvt there must be a slope of 2 that exists within the range of 1ltclt4g’cg4g141f12f3361232the second level of proof for this question is that even when you graph it you can clearly see the way the slope behaves

So g’x or the slope could be 3 15 but it also could be 1

So it should be equal to 2 at some point on the interval

For further clarification there is actually a 2017 frq question released that is very similar to this problem part d is what we should look atplease look at the second image attachedhere is the solutionplease look at the third image attachednow if we use the same logic as the first student reviewer did here is what we would getg’5 3g’3 4and this students conclusion would be since 4 is not in the range of 3 4 the answer would be that it is not possible for there to be a “c” in 5 3 such that f’c 4

However this is clearly an incorrect answer because there does in fact exist a c within the range such that f’c 4

After completing this book i felt so confident about the test and not to my surprise all the exam questions were similar to if not easier than the problems in the book
