I really do like this device the display is clear to read in the dark about 10 feet away from my pillow

Some things about this device that i dont like are1

The display is angled upwards and if the clock is not at eye level then the display looks a lot dimmer it hasnt got great viewing angles at all

Putting the display on the highest setting just lights up the room in the corner too much and can be annoying so i would have preferred a flat display

My solution has been to put something behind the back feet to prop it up to read the display from bed more clearly

Also the brightness of the display can be adjusted in steps depending upon your requirements

However whenever i have cut power to the clock it looses its memory so im not sure if im supposed to put a rechargeable battery in it myself but i shall have to hold comment on that
