Pros
Fits well on a garden hose and appears to be a good design. It's solid brass, and very sturdy, no leaks. Our water department requires these on all faucets.
Happy with purchase. Fast shipping. Amazon will be getting that one back and replaced with this model. Amazon.

Packaging indicates not for use with potable water. Water squirts out when you shut it off.

Before apparently putting water in the tank would build a small amount of pressure and water would spurt back out when i disconnected the hose even with the black tank dump valve open

I was using it on an outdoor sump pump but the needles from the spruce trees keep clogging it up which then reduces the flow and eventually stopping it up

Not sure the value of the nut that locks the item in place on your spigot because if you overtighten then you oblong the device and cause leakage

But when you hand tighten it is not tight enough to avoid turning when you remove your hose from the spigot

They were both leaking due to worn rubber washers

Unfortunately they use a break off screw that is permanently set in threads of faucet

I tried drilling out but was difficult as size is so small also stripped out some threading because metal from the drill and old pieces get caught removing luckily a lot of teflon tape sealed both damaged pipe threads
