Worked as advertised. Nice and solid. When installed correctly this item works.
It is very sturdy and very well built. Screw the threaded end into the rain barrel valve.
Cons
Split along the seam on female side of the valve. Buyer beware. Says drill 1 3/4 hole which means 1.

Valve is very loose on male end needed lots of tape to seal and the female valve end is a pipe thread not a garden hose thread

The instillation instructions do not mention using teflon tape between the valve and bulked fitting i recommend you do the thread type and pitch are not what you might expect
