Pros

Mtx thunders are a smaller box than the mtx box i had in the past. It is installed in the closed trunk of my wife's 2023 kia k5 and leaves plenty of trunk space still. Awesome subwoofers. It’s a better car system than her moms lol.

They bump hard! Absolutely love the way they sound. Highly recommend these. Easy to replace with new speaker.

Pushing it with 350 watt rms amp. Power acoustik rei-1500d caliber, cost way less then the mtx that they offer as a bundle.

Cons

The subwoofer is not a dual coil and it cant handle 500 watt. The cones freeze up, distorting all sound. I have a 10 inch kicker in a ported box and that’s wayyyy louder and better quality than these.

Rd piece of audio equipment i've gotten from amazon that was defective. Do not buy.

Its a smaller box than the mtx box i had in the pastmtx thunders so its definitely a space saver

You dont have to worry about missing the dbs or the 34boom34 with the enclosed box especially if you place them in the back of an suv

Competitiveness

Compared to other cheap pre built sub boxes out there these are undoubtedly the best

The subwoofer set was the best price new compared to some on local facebook market place still asking 300400 for a used set

They just dont get as loud as a much more expensive subwoofer could
