Pros

Maine is known for it's rocky "ledge" terrain. The area where i wanted to put fencing had a deep gravel base. Used this for piling 4x4 pilings for a dock.

Product makes a labor intensive job quicker and easier to do. Makes the job effortless. Couldn't believe how much simpler and easier this made of this once dreaded task.

If your looking for a manual pounder this is a good choice! Weighs 30+ lbs. However it is heavy to work with and for the hobby farmer i would recommend the 12lb. It is heavier than most.

Cons

Inches by 4 inches is missing a 7. Manufacturer should have caught the flaw and fixed it. It's not just an aesthetic issue, it's a qualityflaw.
