I have an intelbased system i7 2600k overclocked to 5 ghz and watercooled with the swiftech h220 and this 7970 runs no hotter than 72 centigrade while overclocked to 1150 mhz core and 6100 mhz memory for hours
The new ati and gtx cards are out and that means cards like this 7970 have dropped 50 or more in price so what are you waiting for
