The msd blaster 2 is only for vertical mount its in the fine print i burned the blaster 2 up mounting it horizontal because the internal oil does not cover the top of the windings and keep it cool

For example the msd blaster hvcii would likely damage the ecu transistor or wires the dwell map must be changed to use the hvcii whereas the msd blaster 8222 will increase your performance without doing damage to your ecu
