Future mysteries should be more about the murder as the prime storyline with emilys personal challanges and friendship as an inspirational back story

It was an entertaining story but the characters were never fleshed out to where they seemed real but were more like cardboard which was a disappointment

It would have been immensely helpful if emilys backstory could have been detailed up front instead of dribbled out one occasional sentence at a time piecemeal throughout the whole book
