I was impressed with its functionality and ease of use and cleaning. It is easy to clean and can be completely dismantled for occasional detailed cleaning.
The unit still grinds well and i am not disappointed with the purchase. There is a plastic insert in the grinding chamber with three legs resting against the wall of the chamber. Grind every week.

I believe this is to agitate the beans as they swirl around the chamber to facilitate an even grind
