It brews like a champ just like the old one did. You barely have to brush your finger on the surface and it starts brewing. Can remove and pour while still brewing.
The coffee stays piping hot and fresh for many hours. This coffee maker heats the coffee during brew, and the insulated steel pot keep it hot. Coffee stays hot for 2 hours in the thermas.
Stainless steel carafe keeps the coffee hot for at least 2 hours. Never end up with burnt coffee or worry about accidentally leaving coffeemaker burner on.
Even the basket and thermal carafe are the same, so now i have spares! There is just one thing that the old one did and this one does as well, i always have a little puddle under the carafe. No more broken carafes.

Don't for the last year or more, the darn thing just clogs and then overflows at the basket level. Each time it happens, i have to clean this thing top to bottom to remove all the grinds stuck in holes everywhere before remaking my coffee. Does not po... Read More
