Pros & Cons
Pros
The package is very easy to open without touching the hot seasoning. It's not messy and birds love it. It really is spicy so be sure to wash your hands if you've touched it.
The covered cylinder feeder is a must to keep the rain off. The little wrens and finches eat it when their feeders are empty. Keep squirrels off the feeder.
Separate purchase. Very sturdy. Good value. But who hates it?
Highlights
Quality
Easy to hang and lasts about a month
These seem to last a long time
The hulls also remain stuck in the cylinder until the birds peck around them and dislodge the hull as birds will not eat hulls
Warning use gloves to handle these ‘cause washing hands does not flush away all peppery hotness
Price
It’s saved me money on birdseed because the squirrels hate it
Very competitive pricing with local shopping with valueadded convenience and selection
Hope the price goes back down
Good value because it did what it said it would do
Competitiveness
I have purchased other hot pepper cakes in the past and this one is by far my favorite
The only seeds other critters wont 34steal34 from the birds

They do need to be kept dry to avoid melting and hold up best in the colder months and not in the rain
