Pros

The mounting bracket makes changing the batteries a breeze. The battery life is so much more than expected. Works well and has improved battery access.

Mb981 solves the problem of forgetting to turn off the light switch. Each has a jumper i remove to allow them to come on even if there is light. No fumbling around for lights, they come on as i walk up to the doorway.

The love motion sensor. Motion detection seems to work better on a person than the tail of the canoe as you walk in. The motion detecting lights are finally the perfect solution.

Can definitely rely on these. Suits my needs. Great value and would definitely recommend these.

Cons

The support group promises a reply within 24-48 hours. Three months later it’s a paperweight. I'm sure these batteries will be dead soon, too. Will get a different brand.

The motion sensor needs alot of work and alot of improvement. Bright light lasts about a week, not a year. It has very poor light output.

Great value and would definitely recommend these

I bought these at home depot 3 yrs ago for 3 and now look at the prices

30 bucks is a lot better than 300 for a quick fix until i can afford to get a electrician to fix my problem

Shipping

Not happy that only one works and they arrived while i was out of town for a month so the window to return ran out

Installed the light near the back of one of our containers where we keep our outrigger canoes stored

I placed 2 of these inside a skinny closet that has tons of storage racks

Checked off all the boxes of things needed and wanted

I could have got the 300lumen model instead of this 200lumen one but hubby still thinks its too bright
