Batteries seem to last a decent amount of time. I have some going strong after 6 months and plenty of rain.

Spaced 6 feet apart gives good lightening of path. It's kind of fun and magical when your presence triggers the light.
This company makes an excellent product. The quality is great and the price is reasonable. Beam line and have been happy with all of them.
Cons
Brightness range is very poor - radius of illumination is about 1 foot2. Even the full-powered light isn’t what i would call overly bright. Each lamp requires 3 big fat c-cell batteries.

Simple to install and plenty bright highly recommended
Finally changed batteries in one of the old ones for the first timethey lasted 3 34 years
Our front porch is covered and does not get much sunlight and lately solar path lights are not working due to cloudy days

Im glad i bought them on sale because i wouldnt have wanted to pay full price since there are other lights out there for under 5 ea
