You dont have to use the adhesive strip on the back of the light if you dont want it also has a hole already drilled in the back and a screw to attach it to the wall

The lights are a warm white not the bright white of like an office light or such

It needs to be really dark in the area that you use them in otherwise they are pointless with other forms of light in the area
