Both brightness and battery life are very good. They hold a charge for a long time. Holds the charge quite well.

But also wont charge well not in direct sunlight

The 44 feet one is connected through usb which means you have to unroll the whole 44feet before you can connect it to the base and then light it up

I cannot comment on how long the battery lasted because we charged it once out of box then used it off and on for only minutes at a time and it still had 4 out of 4 lights for capacity
