Pros & Cons
Pros
Lid does a good job of holding the leaf back while the soup pours quickly. It's a lid on or lid off situation. The mechanics of the lid are not a big issue.
Cons
Accidentally dropped lid on floor and confirmed my suspicion. This is unusable unless you modify it with silicone. Only used it for two days.

Only thing i dont like is that the underside of the lid is hollow so where your finger sits and holds the lid down theres a chamber where hot water can quickly fill up and burn your finger

Making the lid a solid semicircle piece and then fusing the button down on top of that would correct this flaw

Whatever the other reviewers said about the ins and outs of handling it and how the lid firs the cupand so on is true however to me it does not matter much as i simply use it for brewing and thenopen the lid and use a strainer that solves the problem of mechanics of the lid

While i also own other nice tea dishes that are all kinds of ceramic nothing is quite like seeing as the tea is brewing or as you drink and how you hold a glass cup
