Even though i ended up figuring out this is an older version of the movavi software its still a great program for someone who is looking to start doing online video recording or even doing personal video editing

You can capture pretty much any video stream that plays on your computer and save the files in a variety of formats

To be able to copy movies for personal use this software is the perfect solution when you are not able to download the movie from streaming services

I also found that on my larger screen i could record in a corner while still being able to use my system for other apps

While i personally do not used it they also have another product that will allow video editing after the capture has been completed
