Pros

The critter dies quickly, the trap is simple to open without touching the varmint and easy to clean for reuse. These are so easy to empty and reset. Easy to set and reuse if necessary.

These are the best mousetrap i have ever used. They kick * to the old mouse traps that pinch your fingers. These work great for catching mice in the garage or unfinished basement.

The slightest pressure by their feet activates it. The teeth only need to grab a small portion of the front of the mouse's snout, to kill and trap it.



Cons

About 35% of the time, it actually catches the mouse. But had seven babies. Wasted $15.

I am happy for the purchase because the ones i caught were easy to dispose of


Not so useful for rats as they are much larger and may run off with the trap attached to their bodies


I went with the bucket top trap first


With the other brand ive gotten the mice kept taking the bait and getting away

    The not so good they are too light a trapped mouse thats still alive can drag this trap far away from where it was placed

    That and the fact that a mouse can easily chew away much of the trap making the less effective

    I have resorted to screwing them to a board making it too difficult for an injured but not dead mouse to drag them away

    Personally i think this is more humane than the “humane”mouse traps as instant death is probably better for a mouse than hrs of anxiety being locked up in a hot box then transported to some unknown region and killed by local prey

    I already killed 11 mouse only use one trap with in a week
