Pros

Good product. It does this very nicely. Works like a charm. Kinda freaks me out sometimes.

Recognition is almost instantaneous. This camera handles the flip side of the equation, unlocking the pc when i sit down in front of it again. Facial recognition is fast and accurate.

Realtek realtek webcam works well with the windows camera app and skype. As a webcam, the windows photo app lets me pick up to 1280x720 pixels, and 720p 30fps for videos. Overall a very good recognition but let down by the cam function.

As an authentication device, it is fantastic. I highly recommend it for the busysysadmin who frequently jumps up from his/her seat. When i sit down in front of my pc, it recognizes me and unlocks the pc.

Cons

But nothing. The manufacturer's web site is in japanese so it is of no use. Had better luck with the logitech brio.

Im also very happy with the price 13 of a comparable logitech camera

But i dont really care about video quality since i only bought this as a windows hello unlocking camera

My 8yearold microsoft lifecam is leaps and bounds better in terms of image quality

Competitiveness

Still very good for the price and only logitech offer a comparable product but at a significantly higher cost

So for the price it is a nobrainer for adding windows hello support

End updatethe mouse facial recognition camera arrived today and i installed it on my homebrew win 10 computer in five minutes

Some are hard to purchase asrock due to availability or youll pay a premium
