Pros

Mountaintop products truly are top-notch. The color is terrific. For the price, it’s hands down better than others i looked at over at rei for triple and quandruple the price.

The osprey holds up wonderfully and allows for a wide range of adjustment. The only slight downside is the lack of a few pockets on the outside here and there.

It has tons of straps and hooking points to lock things on the pack. The zipper that accesses the main compartment is wonderful. An adjustable strap system that can accommodate a variety of user heights.

The bag is adjustable to fit your torso beautifully and the hip belt gives a nice snug fit. The adjustability of the shoulder harness means you can get close to a perfect size fit for most body types. Strap lengths are probably a little on the long si... Read More

Stitching and zippers seem to be sturdy. Front pocket makes getting to my important things easier while not having to unload my entire bag for one item. Straps to compress everything.

Cons

While all of my gear fit well and the pack is durable it is not for those over 6’ tall. The hip belts are weak and they do not transfer the load properly to your hip. None of the buckles will hold the strap in place.

I wanted a backpack with the hipbelt pockets though at the end of the day i didnt use them

Got the 80l since you can always cinch it down to make smaller but you can’t make the 55l larger

Price

Bought this as impulselightning deal with no research but price was so low under 55 i couldn’t pass it up

I am using this backpack as my gobag for the back of my car i bought the 65l pack

Differences in weight distribution can adversely affect how the pack feels and rides on your back

My only other complaint is that there is no large version of the pack
