This would have been a really smooth install except for the fact that the green link light wouldnt light up meaning that the adapters werent connecting and communicating with one another

As best i can tell it was because there was securityencryption that was preventing them from connecting until i pressed the mps moca protected setup button on each adapter
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The instructions didnt say to do this anywhere and though the quick start guide says to see the online documentation for an explanation of what the mps button was i could find it nowhere online from motorola anyway
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Apparently pressing this buttons causes the security key or password to be shared between adapters so they can communicate
