The night vision is excellent and the picture quality on the handheld is also excellent. Even the app has excellent quality. Only gripe i have is the led light stays on even when screen off.

The battery life barely makes it through one night without dying. This one continuously unpairs itself, and will not re-pair for days at a time. The sound cuts out frequently and the app crashes way too often.

The blue flashing light, it’s true. And it still only dims the light. There is a blinking blue light on the camera when the parent unit is connected. It's so bright all the time it's painful to look at in the dark.

The design flaws and fragile construction of this are not worth the price tag. Would not recommend. Find a better option, this one is a disappointment.

For the price and products that motorola is know for this is unacceptable. You know what’s not conducive to sleep? If you want a monitor and camera that will not allow anyone to sleep, this is definitely the unit for you.
