When possible i prefer to try and stay with the manufacturer parts even if they are remanufactured or reconditioned parts

The reason for changing the master cylinder was that the float on the old one was suspected of not working properly and frankly speaking this truck has been having issues with the rabs rear abs and brake light coming on which is rather annoying

A ford mechanic who has been around awhile said disconnect the light bulb and ignore the issue so in truth a part of the reason to replace the master cylinder was because of the rabs and brake light issue but also because the float issue in the reservoir

You can pay similar at oreallys or napa for a chinese part or get the one that works and is complete w reservoir and outlet proportion valves

Direct bolt on replacement first unit was defective but they made the replacement very easy

I noticed some places said this wouldnt work on certain years including amazon but that was incorrect information for my particular application
