After replacing a hard drive on my lenovo z570 and reinstalling windows 10 from media i discovered that lenovo had done something weird with the bios and wireless adapter and sdcard reader and although the wireless worked fine after the upgrade it no longer worked from a clean install multiple reports by other users too

The biggest drawback of this dongle is that it does not work out of the box and requires the installation of a driver and its configuration app which are provided on a cd and also easily downloadable on the manufacturers web site
