I was suspicious that my oem thermostat failed because my engine was running a bit cooler than it normally does im pretty sure thats what happens when you have a failsafe thermostat

So i was worried putting it in especially because i had to dig quite a way into the engine to get to the thermostat

I ended up just taking the gasket off my oem thermostat and putting it on this one because it looked fine but i would have much preferred to replace the gasket too
