Pros & Cons
Pros
Put it in your radiator or reservoir and your good. No water pump, heater core, radiator, or corrosion problems. No corrosion--no * coolant.
This replenishes them. Although recently shopping in some of the major auto parts stores in my area a product like this seems unavailable.
Inexpensive insurance for an older car. Used on a 1996 toyota landcruiser. Works just as well in vehicles with aluminum radiators. Cast-iron/steel blocks and keads. Great for older cars.
Cons
The iron engine block on the taurus has a tendency to rust turning the coolant murky brown and clogging the heater core. To me, this gunk is only a last resort.
