Motivx uses a drain hose that is made of a material that reminds me of surgical tubing. Because it threads into the oil filter canister you can control the flow as it drains. It makes draining the oil cartridge/canister in my 2019 tacoma a lot less me... Read More

I didn't realize you just thread the textured piece into the hex nut until i did it on accident. Didn't try cutting any off myself yet tho. Easy to use, no oily mess when changing filter.

Quality material, ease of use and clean up are key components of this tool. It’s a novelty and i feel great supporting our southern neighbours versus buying overseas junk. The tool is well made with excellent machining.

The motivx drain funnel works well on both the aluminum and plastic oil filter canister housings in newer and older toyotas.
