It does pretty good as advertised if the wires arent touched

As others have noted there are only 4 magnetic points on the surface of this organizer meaning the entire surface isnt magnetized

If not you will need the cable ties to make the product work

The microsuction surface on the bottom holds securely to any smooth surface and the magnetic top holds the cords strongly enough to keep them from coming off but not so strongly as to make it hard to remove them

I tried to use them to keep a plug off the ground but the ties are too short to wrap around the cord and they dont hold on very well
