These have a larger battery than most led em lights because theyre designed to be able to power 2 additional outboard lights sold seperatly

I installed it to light up a manual transfer switch next to the electrical service when the power goes out and power input needs to be switched over to the generator

Being inexpensive when it eventually dies chances are the batteries will stop holding a charge it wont be a big deal to replace it

Installing these is quite simple assuming you have power run to where you want to place them

The battery pack appears to be 3 aa sized nimh batteries prewired into a pack and is plugged into the circuit board
